PEAKxLeadership CT Overview.

5 days (two weekends) to earn 2 leadership certifications ($350 value).  Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Residential Project eligible.

This leadership course is open to all youth 14-18 who are looking to develop skills and earn certification that will help them demonstrate excellence and achievement.  Combine with Leadership EX course for your one stop Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Residential and Expedition program.  

PEAKxSchool guides students through activities and courses and help them to build on their strengths and discover new talents. Our professional staff provide safe and engaging learning environments where students will develop a diversity of usable skills that are valued by employers, schools, friends, and family alike.

What you Achieve and Earn

PEAKxLeadership CT will meet and exceed all requirements of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Residential Project for participants >16 years old enrolled in the award prior to the course start.

The course will cover the following areas of leadership and skills training.

– Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Preliminary Training
Outdoor Council of Canada Field Leader Certification
Red Cross Standard First Aid (16hr) Certification
– Our Winning Leadership Styles (O.W.L.S)
– Expedition Behaviour and Conflict Avoidance > Mitigation > Resolution

Dates and Location

The 5-day, 4-night course is covered through two weekend-long programs.  The course will take place at Camp Capilano in North Vancouver, which is ideally suited to the curricula and the objectives of the Duke of Edinburgh Residential Project.

Course fees include all of the above certifications and training from professional instructors (a 350+ value!), meals, accommodation, and fun.  Save the GST when you combine PEAKxLeadership CT and PEAKxLeadership EX.

Visit the Pre-registration Google Form to apply with NO DEPOSIT required.

Registration with the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award ($30) is not included. We strongly encourage participants to sign of for the Award but it is not required.  Each DOE Level earns the participant 2 British Columbia High School Credits.
